How does online counseling work?

Q: How does he counselor know when I'm online?
A: We will know when to be there to chat with the user because you will call the office during the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm EST and make an appointment, or you can use our Appointment Request Form.

Q: How do I pay for this?
A:When you call to make an appointment, or request one through our website, you will provide us with your credit card information. If you go through the website, we will contact you as soon as we verify your information.

Once your credit card is verified, an appointment will be set (through e-mail) or by the secretary over the phone. You may choose to pay for one or more sessions at that time.

What services are offered?

Pastoral Counseling by an ordained minister, or
Outpatient Mental Health Counseling by a licensed psychotherapist.

These services include (but are not limited to) the following:

The fee for these services is $75/hour. An initial assessment must be done before any counseling can begin.

Additional Services:

Sessions in Pain Mgmt or Complementary Medicine with a certified Senior Qi-Gong Instructor are $250/hour.

Can I claim this on my insurance?

Unfortunately, consultation through the Internet does not constitute medical psychotherapy or medical counseling at this time. We are not able to accept insurance due to the limitations of the Internet and the inability to see patients face-to-face. We are able to file insurance benefits for those patients seen in our office, because most insurance companies require a face-to-face session.
